MOLD'S three day Festival of Hope or 'Gwyl Gobaith Festival' kicks off tonight at Gwysaney Hall, with an evening of 'Comedy in the Park.'
The line up includes comedy stalwarts such as Jason Manford, a regular on BBC panel show 8 out of 10 cats, Tudor Owen, who has written for BAFTA winning comedy 'The PC Leslie Wynne Show' and was also a winner of the BBC THREE comedy competition, The Last Laugh.
Milton Jones and Silky, both successful comedians on the international comedy circuit will also be performing.
Gates open at 6pm with performances beginning at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £20 can be bought on the door.
Tomorrow night (Saturday June 27) will see a 'Classics in the Park' musical spectacular, with performers including Rhys Meirion, Shan Cothi, David Kempster and the London International Orchestra.
Acts begin at 6pm with fire works completing the evening's entertainment at 10.30pm. Tickets cost £27 and can be bought on the night.
The weekend will be rounded off with 'Choirs in the Park' on Sunday from 8pm, with acts such as Only Men Aloud and Ysgol Glanaethwy taking part, with fireworks once again completing the night.

The festival aims to raise funds for Hope House and Ty Gobaith children's Hospices
