Talk will focus on regime in Burma

TWO campaigners travelling throughout the UK to spotlight the repressive regime in Burma will be visiting Hawarden on Sunday, February 8.

Sarah Armitage and Wesley Robinson from Partners Relief and Development (PRAD) have lived and worked with the people of Burma and have seen for themselves the results of many years of rule by a brutal regime.

They will give a talk at the Tithe Barn, Church Lane, Hawarden, at 7pm.

For further details, call Beth Gibbons on 01244 816122.

PRAD is an organisation that works with and on behalf of the people of Burma.

It has staff based in two offices on the ground in Thailand and international offices in the US, the UK, Australia, Canada, Norway and New Zealand.
