Mold golf club hits jackpot with casino night

MOLD Golf Club members have been playing their cards right with a Las Vegas-style Fun Casino Night.
More than 100 members and guests were under starter’s orders to enjoy a flutter on the horses, roulette, blackjack, crown and anchor, dice games, a lottery and a “funny money” auction.
The event, which raised more than £1,000, is one of many planned for 2009 as the club celebrates its centenary year.
During the next 12 months members will be raising money for the captains’ charities – Nightingale House Hospice and North East Wales Search and Rescue.
