Flintshire emergency services were called to attend two crashes in one hour in Shotton and Penyffordd due to the bad weather

FLINTSHIRE Emergency services were kept busy yesterday morning (Wednesday) as the bad weather sweeping the county led to two separate collisions.

The first was at 9.23am when a Ford Fiesta and a BMW crashed on Clwyd Street, Shotton, the fire service and ambulance attended, and both drivers are believed to have only suffered minor injuries.

The second was at 9.47am when the police were informed that a Vauxhall Corsa had over turned near Coed Mor, Penyffordd.

The ambulance and fire service attended, but it is believed no one was injured and no other vehicle was involved.
