A DATE for the Holywell Christmas light switch-on has been set.
It is at 5pm on Friday, November 27, and one pupil from each of the town’s five primary schools will have the honour of switching on the illuminations.
Ysbyty Glan Clwyd Hospital Radio will be getting everyone in the festive mood, with seasonal music playing in the town centre from noon and fairground rides and other attractions open from 3pm.
Holywell mayor Cllr Rosetta Dolphin said: “Last year’s event attracted about 2,000 people from Holywell and the surrounding villages who came to see the town’s new Christmas lights, enjoy all the fun of the fair and see the fireworks display.”
