Healthy eating week at St John the Baptist Primary school in Penymynydd, Flintshire
A HEALTHY eating week was on the menu at a Flintshire school.
There were lots of options and a range of tasks for the children who attend St John the Baptist Primary school in Penymynydd.
The Chester Road school’s foundation classes made soup, muffin pizzas and fruit smoothies and enjoyed craft activities.
Year 3 also cooked pizzas and Year 4 baked healthy muesli bars which they then sold during an open afternoon for parents.
Their efforts generated a £50 profit which will go towards the school’s charity this year, which is sponsoring a child through the World Vision project.
