Staff at Sainsbury’s, Flint, get in the pink for Breast Cancer Campaign

STAFF at Flint’s Sainsbury’s store did their bit for the Breast Cancer Campaign by turning up to work in pink last Friday.

Staff member Amy Tonks said: “All the customers were commenting on how much effort we’d made with our outfits.”

Collection buckets were put on checkouts and pink cakes were for sale in the store’s offices.

Amy said: “It was a real success. The collection buckets were filling up really quickly and we had to keep emptying them.

“We’ve not totalled up all the money yet but I think we’ve done quite well.”
