Driver taken to Countess of Chester Hospital after car crash in Saltney

A MAN was taken to hospital after a two-car collision in Saltney.
The crash between two Vauxhall Vectras happened at around 3pm yesterday, Thursday, at the junction of Boundary Lane and Sandy Lane.
Police, paramedics and firefighters were called.
One motorist suffered neck and back injuries and was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital for precautionary checks, said a spokeswoman for North West Ambulance Service.
