Flintshire fire crews cut two people free from a car in Holywell that rolled on to its roof during a collision

TWO people had to be cut free from wreckage this morning after three cars were involved in a collision on Holway Road, Holywell.

Emergency services were called to the scene outside Bray Hill at 11.15am where they found one car on its roof with two people trapped inside.

Fire crews cut free an 70-year-old man and 64-year-old woman.

Two ambulances took the couple to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd on spinal boards for treatment.

Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
