Caerwys Post Office closed for a week for £19,000 refurbishment

CAERWYS Post Office is closing for a week to undergo a facelift funded by a £19,000 grant from the National Assembly for Wales.

The branch in Water Street, which is also a butcher’s shop, closed yesterday, Wednesday, and will remain closed until December 2. The butchers shop will remain open.

The grant has come from the Assembly’s Post Office Diversification Fund, which is open to every post office in Wales and can be used to make improvements, provide more diverse services and make local businesses more sustainable.

Customers can use branches in Bodfari and Holywell.
