North Wales Police extend search for Buckley woman

POLICE are extending their search for a Buckley woman who has been missing since Friday, February 5.

Pauline Annette Edwards, 68,who was last seen in Trefor, near Caernarfon in Gwynedd, on Friday afternoon.

A thorough search of Trefor and the surrounding area has been conducted by the mountain rescue and search and rescue teams using specially trained dogs to try and establish what has happened to Mrs Edwards.

Underwater search teams have also searched of the seafront near the harbour and pier and enquiries are continuing in the village.

The police, who say they are increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of Mrs Edwards, are currently extending their search along the coastline with the help of the coastguard, the RNLI and the Police Air Support Team.

They are appealing to anyone who has information concerning her disappearance to contact them on 101 if calling from Wales, or on 0845 607 1001 (Welsh line), 0845 607 1002 (English line). Alternatively information can be sent in a text message to 66767 or email – northwalespolice@north-wales.police.uk.
