Delyn AM Sandy Mewies joins International Women’s Day celebrations

DELYN AM Sandy Mewies will join celebrations for International Women’s Day onMonday (March 8).
Mrs Mewies is one of the guest speakers at an event organised by charity Kindness in Mind (KIM) which will take place at the Flint Pavilion Leisure Centre.
She said: “I am delighted to be able to support this event to celebrate women's achievements in political and civic life in many different cultures.
“In the Assembly there are 28 women AMs, almost half the entire membership, which demonstrates a healthy political diversity which we in Wales can celebrate.”
