Saltney firm Firstline Digital raises thousands for Help for Heroes at charity cabaret show

STAFF members at a Flintshire firm had a grand night out in aid of a good cause.

Firstline Digital, based on the Borders Industrial Estate, Saltney, held a charity night cabaret show in Ellesmere Port’s Holiday Inn and helped raise £3,900 for Help For Heroes.

DJ Billy Butler hosted the night and talks were given by two Help for Heroes volunteers.

Those performing on the night included Andrea Hirthe, providing a taste of the 1940s, all-round entertainer Lee Ross, clubland singer Tony Read and soul band Safehouse.

A charity auction and a raffle were also held, with prizes including a family holiday to Florida, vouchers for shopping and leisure activities and a family portrait experience.

A company spokeswoman thanked the Holiday Inn for providing the venue for free along with plenty of help and support.
