Bryn Coch Primary School, Mold, wins geography award

A MOLD school has won an award for geography.

Bryn Coch Primary School received the Primary Geography Quality Mark Award 2011.

The award recognises the school’s capacity to embed innovative geography throughout the school.

Geography co-ordinator Helen Lewis demonstrated how the school uses creative approaches to stimulate learning and uses real-life issues to help understanding.

Headteacher Lynne Williams congratulated Mrs Lewis on her hard work and said she was delighted to receive the award.
