Rugby union: Mold 2nds hammer Caernarfon 2nds in North Wales League Division Four

MOLD 2nds made an immediate return to winning ways in North Wales League Division Four on Saturday as they hammered Caernarfon 2nds 61-5.

Cai Edwards spearheaded the home side’s charge with a hat-trick of tries.

Steve Quinton (2), Simon Caddick, Mark Hopkins, Josh Sparks and Ethan Bishop also went over as Mold bounced back from their midweek 28-10 loss at Ruthin 2nds.

Quinton finished as the match’s top-scorer by adding eight conversions.

Mold head to Llangefni 2nds on Saturday while Flint entertaining improving Wrexham 2nds.

Flint went down 37-12 at Llangollen on Saturday.
