Motorcyclist seriously injured in Northop road crash

A MOTORCYCLIST suffered serious injuries in a crash in Northop last night (Wednesday).

Police were called to a collision, involving a car and motorcycle, on the B5126 Northop to Connah’s Quay road at 7pm.

North Wales Ambulance Service was called and the motorcyclist, who is believed to be 40-years-old, was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital with serious injuries.

Recovery was requested for both vehicles and the road was cleared shortly before 9pm.

Witnesses are asked to contact officers at the Eastern Roads Policing Unit on 0845 607 1001 (Welsh line) or 0845 607 1002 (English line).
