Pilot survives light aircraft crash with minor injuries

A PILOT has suffered minor injuries after crashing his light aircraft into a field near Wrexham.
Police received the call at 2.14pm yesterday (Wednesday) reporting the incident near Chirk Airfield.
Police, fire and ambulance crews attended the scene.
The 52-year-old pilot managed to make his own way out of the aircraft and was taken to hospital.
