AN EMOTIONALLY charged Rolf Harris has announced the re-release of his 1969 Christmas number one hit Two Little Boys.
He teamed up with Froncysyllte Male Voice Choir for the remake of the battlefield song at a special performance at the White Water Hotel, Llangollen today.
Holding back tears, Harris, 78, told how he recently discovered his father and uncle had fought alongside each other in France and Belgium.
The poignant song will feature in a BBC documentary Harris has made to help mark the 90th anniversary of the end of World War I.
Two Little Boys was the top-selling single in 1969 and stayed at number one for six weeks.
It will be released as a single on November 10 and will feature in the 60-member Fron choir’s third album Voices of the Valley: Home.
The choir reached number one in the classical charts with their Voices of the Valley album.
