THEY may be going bananas at a Flint school but it’s all for a good cause.
St Richard Gwyn Catholic High School have been taking part in a Fairtrade banana-eating challenge.
More than a quarter of a million people took part in the event nationally as part of a world record attempt.
Fairtrade Fortnight has been a huge success across Flintshire.
The event at St Richard Gwyn was also part of the Hunger Lunch on Family Fast Day to raise awareness of and raise funds for CAFOD.
As well as the lunch there was an inter-house quiz on development issues.
