CHESTER: April 4-June 30 - Chester Through A Lens: The Photography of Thomas Pickthall - exploration of the work of photographer Thomas Pickthall whose pictures captured Chester during the 1930s, at Chester History & Heritage in Bridge Street Row.

CHESTER: July 24-July 17 2011 - Workwear: Dressed For The Job - this small exhibition looks at both practical clothes and ceremonial uniform, contrasting a labourer’s cotton smock with a footman’s gold-braided livery and a hair stylist’s simple dress with an alderman’s fur-trimmed fown at the Grosvenor Museum Costume Gallery.
