FRANK Horner (Ray Winstone) is a solicitor based in a small town in Wiltshire, who has smothered his daughter Helen (Lois Winstone) with love for 20 years.

Referring to her affectionately as his princess, Frank is dreading the day when he must finally let Helen go so she can go to university and move in with her boyfriend Simon (Luke Kempner).
