A CELEBRATION of late, great British comedy actress Beryl Reid takes place in November.
The Brindley Runcorn stages Roll Out The Beryl on Wednesday, November 9, at 7.30pm.
The show has been written and is performed by Elaine Pantling.
A Brindley spokesman said: “A rich menu of theatre, pleasantry and humour are brought to the table as Beryl’s vivacious character is brought to life as she entertains with bravado and a sparkling spirit.
“Her desire to love and to be loved is of paramount importance.
“Chaos, comedy, clowning and shoes are the order of the day as Beryl cooks and prepares a meal live on stage – a starter, main course and for afters something naughty but nice!
“You will be introduced to some of Beryl’s best-loved characters. Featuring Marlene from the Midlands, Monica the naughty school girl, Conception the Spanish waitress and a few extras on the side, including memories of meals shared with some of her theatrical friends and some of her favourite things.”
