Chester Music Theatre presents ComedySportz

CHASE away the winter blues this Saturday with a comedy troupe with a difference.

Chester Music Theatre in Boughton presents ComedySportz, a family-friendly comedy improvisation show.

Ideas from the audience will be used to create side-splitting songs, scenes and sketches as two teams battle it out for the biggest laughs.

Audience members are also encouraged to get up on to the stage with the performers and help them out. A referee will be present to call any fouls, direct the entertainment and decide the winner.

ComedySportz manager Brainne Edge said: “It's hard to tell you what the show is, as it's the only one of its type in the area. The only comparison is that it is like Whose Line Is It Anyway? or Mock The Week, but you get the added excitement of a live performance – everything is made up on the spot right in front of you.”

Admission is £6 for adults, £4 concessions and a newly refurbished cut-price bar.

Tickets can be booked by calling the box office on 01244 351010 or visit www.chestermusictheatre.com.
