Dutch sensation Caro Emerald comes to Manchester

DUTCH singing sensation Caro Emerald is set to dazzle Britain with her polished fusion of pop, jazz and swing.

Her album Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor has been one of the biggest hits of the year and her UK fanbase grows every week.

Now she has announced four dates in March, including the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester on March 19.

Caro and her band will be performing showstopping songs from Deleted Scenes including Back It Up, A Night Like This, That Man and Stuck.

2011 has delivered a succession of highlights for the singer whose chic image and effortless marriage of 50s inspired salsa, samba and jazz with a contemporary pop vigour marks her out as a true original.

A record-breaking star in her Netherlands homeland, in 2011 Deleted Scenes has resonated with audiences all over Europe.

On these shores it is certified gold and became the sleeper hit of the summer, scoring 10 weeks in the Top 10 Album Chart and peaking at number four.

In November the album was reissued as a CD/DVD double pack, featuring a triumphant live concert recorded at Amsterdam’s Heineken Music Hall.
