Frankie Valli takes Four Seasons to Manchester

TO CELEBRATE the 50th anniversary of their first hit single Sherry, American pop music legends Frankie Valli And The Four Seasons will perform at the Manchester Arena this summer.

Tickets for the concert on Sunday, July 1, concert are now on sale.

Formed in New Jersey in 1955 by falsetto lead singer Frankie Valli, the group scored their first number one in the summer of 1962 with Sherry. The group went on to enjoy a series of hit singles including Bye Bye Baby (Baby Goodbye), Walk Like A Man, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, Working My Way Back To You and the disco classic December, 1963 (Oh, What A Night!)

The group was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 1990 and the Vocal Hall Of Fame in 1999. More recently, the life and times of Frankie and his group became the basis for the award-winning Broadway and West End musical Jersey Boys.
