IT BEGAN as a distracting spectacle at the 1995 Glastonbury Festival and has been terrifying crowds of people across the world ever since.
The Circus of Horrors made the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent, as well as touring the globe and rubber-stamping its cult status with each and every stop.
Now it’s coming back to the Victoria Hall in Hanley on Thursday, January 24.
Set in 1927 Berlin, expect to see fireworks as the sword swallower gulps down lethal blades, Anastasia is dangled from the ceiling by her hair and the rest of the cast offer their full support in all sorts of bizarre and dare- devilish ways.
The Circus of Horrors has gathered a number of celebrity endorsements in its relentless pursuit to scare its audience half to death.
BBC presenter Graham Norton was moved enough to say: “You have to go and see this in case one day something goes wrong and you will be able to say ‘I was there’.”
The show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced £16-£25, to book call the box office on 0844 871 7649 or visit www.atgtickets.com/victoria-hall.
