WARDLE’S Jolly Tar welcomes back the popular Pepper Town Band tonight (Wednesday).
Featuring several members of The Salt City Jazzmen, they play traditional jazz in a traditional way.
Favourites Steve Hayes and Les Hunt return tomorrow.
Landlord Ray Bispham said: “Expect some mighty fine guitar work, some great vocals and a little bit of stage banter from these boys. They are definitely a class act.”
On Friday, Gambler are back for another stellar performance.
They have become well known for delivering a jam-packed set of rock anthems not normally covered from the likes of Focus, Pearl Jam and Golden Earring.
Finally, top tribute band Mutha Humbucker promise a roaring return on Saturday.
The four-piece formed six years ago, having been friends at school 10 years previously.
They started putting a set of classic and contemporary tunes together and practised in whichever pub had a spare back room.
Their repertoire covers the likes of Def Leppard, AC/DC, Guns ’n’ Roses, Whitesnake, Stereophonics and Kings of Leon among others.
All gigs are free entry and start at 9.30pm.
