The cast of Chester Theatre Clubs production of My Three Angels.
YOU can escape the grey days of January with a black comedy under blue skies.
Chester Theatre Club invites you to enjoy Christmas in French Guiana with a production of My Three Angels, by Sam and Bella Spewack.
Based on French play La Cuisine Des Anges by Albert Husson, the story starts on the island of Cayenne on Christmas Eve in 1910.
At the Emporium, managed by the naive Dulay family, three world-weary and hardened convicts are mending the roof.ŠThe owner of the business, Cousin Gaston, arrives to conduct an audit and the fun begins.
The play raises questions about morality, and is billed as ‘both hilarious and thought-provoking’.
Directed by Margaret Bennett, the cast comprises new and old faces from the club.
My Three Angels is at Chester Little Theatre in Newton from Saturday, January 12, to Saturday, January 19, excluding Sunday.
Tickets (£8, concessions £6.50 Monday and Tuesday) are available by calling 0844 8700 887 or visiting www.chestertheatreclub.co.uk.
