Comedy night returns to Nantwich Civic Hall

THE Very Best in Stand Up returns to Nantwich Civic Hall for 2013 with four more top acts.

The next show is on February 1 and fans of television show Ask Rhod Gilbert will be familiar with one of the acts on the bill already.

Lloyd Langford was a staple as a panellist on the show and he’s back in Nantwich after two years along with Dan Evans, Sean Percival and Jonathan Mayor.

On the show, Langford is often the brunt of some kind of wacky or dangerous experiment dreamed up by the Welsh host.

He has also plied his stand-up comedy on Russell Howard’s Good News and Dave’s One Night Stand.

He also writes for 8 out of 10 Cats, Mock The Week and Have I Got News For You.

In almost 20 years on the circuit, Dan Evans has delighted audiences with his brand of comedy.

He has also become a TV writer in that time, where he’s seen his material and work put onto the screen on cult Channel 4 show The 11 O’Clock Show, Rory Bremner – Who Else and also several shows with his long-time comedy buddy Milton Jones.

Jonathan Mayor has forged a reputation as one of the country’s finest MCs but combining hilarious audience interaction and glamming up in the most glitzy, glittery outfits.
