CHESTER: The Royal School of Church Music Chester Area Festival takes place in Chester Cathedral at 5.30pm. Based on Evensong, it celebrate the 350 anniversary of the publication of the Book of Common Prayer and the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. It will be sung by a massed choir drawn from RSCM affiliated churches in the Chester Diocese, directed by Stephen Carleston and accompanied by Benjamin Chewter. Retiring collection.
