CHESTER: January 12-April 7 - Louise Rayner: Watercolours of Victorian Chester - the much-loved watercolours of Louise Rayner (1832-1924) present a unjquely charming view of Victorian Chester and can be seen at the Grosvenor Museum Exhibition Gallery One.
CHESTER: January 3-March 29 - Up The Junction - mini photographic exhibition which takes us on a journey back to the golden age of steam trains, at Chester History and Heritage Centre.
CHESTER: January 3-March 29 - A Had Day’s Night - life in late Victorian Chester was no fun for the ordinary working man. This photographic exhibition looks at the chain makers, factory and corporation workers, railway staff and farm workers whose labours helped make the city successful and secure, at Chester History and Heritage Centre.
CHESTER: October 6-January 20 - Trapped in Time: 600 Million Years of Fossils - travelling through geological time, you will see examples of the earliest life forms to giant plants, dinosaur eggs and swimming reptiles, as well as Ice Age mammals, at the Grosvenor Museum Exhibition Gallery One.
CHESTER: Until June 30 2013 - Fifties Frocks: Female Fashion from the 1950s - small exhibition showing day and evening dresses, cocktail and dance dresses, ranging from the Parisian haute couture of Dior and Jacques Fath to those made in Wilmslow and Liverpool, in the Grosvenor Museum Costume Gallery.
