Man charged with causing death by careless driving in Connah’s Quay

A MAN has been charged with causing death by careless driving following an accident at Connah’s Quay last summer.

The case against Jeffrey Cull, 41, of Woodchurch Lane, Ellesmere Port, was listed at Flintshire magistrates’ court at Mold today (Thursday).

But it had been adjourned administratively to appear at Wrexham magistrates court tomorrow (Friday).

Cull has denied causing the death of Ronald Thomas Hogg by driving a Vauxhall Vectra without due care and attention in Thornfield Avenue, Connah’s Quay, on June 3 last year.

Mr Hogg died later on June 23.

A case management hearing is due to be held tomorrow pending trial.
