Council van stolen from Queensferry

A COUNTY council van was stolen from outside Deeside Leisure Centre this morning (Wednesday).

A spokesman for North Wales Police said the white transit van, which contained gardening tools, was parked outside the centre on Chester Road West in Queensferry at about 9.45am when somebody got into it and drove off in the direction of the Coast Road.

The Flintshire County Council vehicle has since been sited in a number of different locations since it was stolen.
