Holywell business Jardinière praised for window display

THE owner of a Holywell business has been praised by councillors for the good impression her window display is giving of the town.

Owner of Jardinière Lucy Ashbrook, wanted to make her window display as eye catching as possible in an effort to brighten up the town and draw more customers into her furnishing, gift and clothing store.

Holywell Councillor Peter York, said: “Lucy should be congratulated not only for helping to make the town more attractive but also on her recent decision to offer a wider range of goods and services, most of which weren’t previously available in Holywell.

“First impressions are very important and she is reaping the benefits of her makeover.”

Lucy said: “My shop is one of the first people see when passing the town centre and I wanted to do my best to turn as many passers-by into customers. I spent many hours thinking about the design and colour scheme for the building because I wanted it to be a credit to the town and from the comments I’ve received so far, I believe I have achieved this.”

Lucy has expanded her range to sell plus-size ladies wear, hand bags, occasion wear, costume jewellery, wall paper and Roman blinds.
