Flintshire Business Awards 2012

A MOLD-BASED firm has signed up to sponsor the Flintshire business awards for another two years.

AGS Security Systems will be the headline sponsor until October next year.

Now in its sixth year, Flintshire County Council’s Business Awards showcase the achievements of Flintshire businesses.

Jonathan Turner, managing director of AGS Systems, said: “The Flintshire Business Awards are a great occasion, it’s hugely popular within the business community, and all the key players are keen to be associated with it.

“From a personal and professional point of view, it provides fantastic opportunities, and I’m proud that AGS is able to commit to the awards at the highest level, by remaining a headline sponsor for three years.”

This year’s gala evening will take place on Friday, October 19, at Soughton Hall in Northop, as part of Flintshire Business Week 2012.

The 11 categories are open to businesses of all sizes and sectors.

Kate Catherall, business development officer at the council, said: “Between now and October we are now going to be very busy, encouraging more people than ever to enter the 11 competition categories, and we hope to get many more sponsors on board.”
