LICENSING chiefs have agreed to allow a Deeside club to stay open until midnight every night of the week.
Shotton Lane Social Club had applied to have a late licence until 1am, but councillors at County Hall, Mold, decided on Monday morning staying open until midnight was more appropriate.
A number of residents turned up at the meeting to make representations about the club, which has been linked to anti-social behaviour in Shotton.
Police and firefighters also raised concerns, which Flintshire’s licensing committee took into consideration when making its decision.
