A MOLD man has been remanded in custody on serious charges including kidnap and rape.
John Bevan, 45, of West View, Mold, faces five charges following an incident in the town on May 13.
Judge Philip Richards, sitting at Mold Crown Court, was told Bevan had been charged with unlawful imprisonment, attempted GBH, kidnapping, rape and robbery.
Prosecution barrister John Philpotts said the prosecution papers would be served within a month and the case was listed for a plea and case management hearing on July 2, when Bevan will be asked to enter pleas to the charges.
Defending barrister Simon Mills did not apply for bail.
