School-leavers at Ysgol Maes Hyfryd, Flint, celebrate in style at prom
SCHOOL-LEAVERS stepped out in style to celebrate at their prom.
Pupils of Ysgol Maes Hyfryd, Flint, dressed to impress at the first end-of-year bash to be held for students of the specialist high school.
They enjoyed a buffet and disco at Cornist Hall.
Gareth Edwards, assistant headteacher and head of sixth form, said: “The prom was enjoyed by all.
“They all looked the part and enjoyed walking along the red carpet and arriving in a limousine.
“It was a proud moment for our students and it was a very successful day.
“We produced a DVD of the event, which the students can keep as a memory of this special day and put in their record of achievement files.”
