Mold man admits distraction burglary

A MAN has been charged with a distraction burglary at the home of a Mold pensioner.

Steven John Richardson, 30, of Hawthorn Avenue in Mold, pleaded not guilty when he appeared at Flintshire Magistrates’ Court at Mold.

He is alleged to have burgled the house in Bridge Street, Mold, on October 30, jointly with Glenn Bevan.

Magistrates bailed him until February pending committal to the crown court. A curfew was imposed to keep him indoors at night.
