AN EMPLOYEE of Asda in Queensferry was arrested on suspicion of theft from the store.
The woman was escorted from the store in handcuffs by police on Friday afternoon.
She has now been released on bail.
A spokesman for North Wales Police said: “I can confirm that we were called to Asda at 3.15pm on Friday and someone was taken into custody.
“A 27-year-old woman from Flint was arrested on suspicion of theft and has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.”
Store manager Warren Welsh and Asda’s national press office refused to comment.
