Flintshire Neighbourhood Watch Association trustees recognised

THE work of the trustees of Flintshire Neighbourhood Watch Association is being recognised as part of a national awareness campaign.

Trustees’ Week aims to celebrate the work trustees do for charities around the UK.

Denise Edwards of Flintshire Neighbourhood Watch Association said: “Trustees are the people in charge of our charity. They play a vital role, volunteering their time and working together to make important decisions about the charity’s work.

“Trustees’ Week is an ideal opportunity to highlight the great work trustees do and to draw attention to opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference.

“It gives me great pleasure to recognise the work of our committed and dedicated 15 trustees.

“Without them we would not have remained in place serving the people of Flintshire for the past 24 years, helping to keep it a safe place to live, work and visit.”

Denise added: “We are very fortunate to have genuine people who care are fully committed to promoting the aims of the association.”
