Students from Elfed High School, Buckley, embark on expedition

STUDENTS from Elfed High School in Buckley have completed an expedition for their silver Duke of Edinburgh award.

Three groups battled adverse weather conditions to complete a three day expedition across the Clwydian range.

They walked 15km a day in hail, rain, thunder and lightning.

The group will now complete the rest of the award and plan a final expedition for the summer.
