Chester student to tackle Four Peaks challenge in aid of Sport Relief

TWO students are preparing to reach their peak performance in aid of this year’s Sport Relief campaign.

David Roberts, from Clutton, Chester, and Scott Redington are to tackle the four highest summits in England in the Lake District – all within the space of just 36 hours.

David, 19, said: “We have both started training by going around Hyde Park.

“Both of us are University of London students – I am studying philosophy.

“Much of our travel will take place at night time and with very little sleep.

“Sport Relief is obviously a very worthy cause, so any donations to our page to help people living unimaginably tough lives both at home in the UK and across the world’s poorest countries are more than welcome.

“After this challenge we are looking at doing other endurance events, such as going to the top of Table Mountain in Cape Town.”
