Olympic torch replica passes through Shotton schools

A REPLICA of the Olympic flame is making its way through Deeside schools.

Almost 80 children from St Ethelwold’s took the Flintshire Schools Olympic Torch on the short walk to Venerable Edward Morgan Primary.

Every pupil got to hold the model – which is being passed around all Flintshire schools in the run-up to London 2012 – before it was handed to Shotton Infants.
