Flintshire Communities First course offers chance to improve health and well-being

FLINTSHIRE Communities First, in partnership with Coleg Harlech WEA, is providing a new healthy lifestyle programme called Learning for Health.

The course aims to improve the health and well-being of adults living in Flintshire, giving them the chance to try fun new ways to exercise and teach them how to make positive lifestyle changes, while providing the opportunity to meet new people.

The OCN accredited course will be delivered by qualified tutors over six weekly sessions, which include stress management, nutrition, a cookery taster session, Nordic walking and a visit to the gym at Mold Sports Centre.

The Learning for Health course started yesterday (Wednesday) and runs from 12-2.30pm at the Clubhouse, Park Avenue, Mold. Places are limited so booking is essential.
