Mold PR firm Outwrite appoints journalist

A PR and digital marketing agency has bolstered its team with a new addition.

Mold-based Outwrite has appointed Aaron Haley as PR account executive.

Aaron, 24, join the company after spending three years as a journalist in North Wales, during which he interviewed David Cameron and Nick Clegg and pop stars Tinie Tempah and Ellie Goulding.

He was also responsible for the online content for two newspapers, in addition to handling the social media accounts.

Aaron said: “Moving into PR is something I have been considering, and joining Outwrite is a fantastic opportunity.

“As a journalist, receiving their work was always a pleasure as I knew it would be well written with no further follow-up needed.

“I’m confident I can continue the high level of work this company produces.”

Founded in 1994, Outwrite has increasingly been complementing its traditional PR methods with digital services.

There has also been an internal change, with Anthony Bullick moving into the newly created role of PR and social media co-ordinator as digital demands continue to grow.

Founder and managing director Tracy North said: “It’s fantastic to get Aaron on board and he has already settled in very well.

“His experience in the online world, as well as the more traditional journalism, ensures he has the knowledge and ability to deal with the rise in digital enquiries we are receiving.

“Digital media is now a vital part of growing a business and we are seeing more and more companies adding digital to their overall marketing mix.”
