J D Wetherspoon pubs in Flintshire celebrate St David’s Day

J D WETHERSPOON pubs across Flintshire will be celebrating St David’s Day with a range of drinks and food from Wales, including a real ale never previously served in the pub.

And to mark the occasion the celebrations will run from this Monday to Sunday, March 3.

The Market Cross in Holywell, The Central Hotel in Shotton and The Gold Cape in Mold will be serving Brains Captain Cat Ale (£2.09 a pint) for the first time, together with Black Dragon Cider (£2.69 a pint) Penderyn Welsh whisky (£2.79 for a 25cl serving) and Flaming Dragon curry, a hot chicken curry made in Wales (£6.25 inclusive of a choice of drink).

Pub manager Will Malone said: “We are looking forward to celebrating St David’s Day in style with a great choice of Welsh drink and food.”
