Higher Kinnerton Community Walks group marks first anniversary

HIGHER Kinnerton Community Walks group has hit its stride after it has passed its first anniversary.

Walkers meet every Thursday at 1pm in the village hall in Higher Kinnerton.

The walks are free and see walkers led around the countryside surrounding the area, and elsewhere for special walks.

The aim of the group is to promote and provide opportunities for led walks in Flintshire and its neighbouring counties in order to increase healthy living, physical activity and social and mental well being.

The walkers gather afterwards at the village hall for tea, coffee and cakes.
