Cricket: Carmel announces plans to create third team in North Wales League

CARMEL and District CC are on the lookout for new talent after deciding to enter a third team into the North Wales League in 2011.

The village club currently has two teams but have added another after earning the ECB Clubmark award, which accredits coaching and development.

Club captain Danny Oliver said: “Perhaps there are some youngsters who have stopped playing or were not getting a chance elsewhere.

“We want them to know the door is open for them to play here.

“There will be a strong emphasis on allowing junior players to shine.”
