Gang wanted after armed robbery at Flintshire pub

POLICE are appealing for information after a robbery at a Flintshire pub.

The incident happened at about 11pm yesterday (Sunday) when five masked men – one carrying a hammer and another with a wheel brace – entered the Bells of St Mary’s pub on Mostyn Road, Gronant, and threatened staff.

No-one was assaulted during the robbery but the offenders made off with a substantial amount of cash, said North Wales Police.

Det Insp Alun Oldfield added: “We would appeal for anyone with information to call us on 101 or anonymously through CrimeStoppers on 0800 555111.”
